I ordered a bunch of books from Amazon, they took about a month to get here to South Africa (expected), but they arrived in a BAG ??!.

I thought it rather strange that Amazon would ship items halfway across the world in a bag. Surely not?

Of course not, SA Customs was to blame.

Upon opening the bag I was able to see the extent of the damage caused to my books by SA Customs a) ripping the Amazon box to pieces and b) not bothering to tape it back up again.

And of course several of the books, especially the paperbacks sustained enough damage to age them 5 years.

Well done SA Customs. Seriously, WTF are you guys smoking?
